Printing can 'make or break' any fine are photographer in two senses. When you take your photography as seriously as I do and you really work hard bringing your work to a high standard, you don't want to lose the quality on cheap prints...but then at the same time you don't want to over price yourself.

My preferred print execution has to be the Lambda Photographic fine art print with a heat treated UV protecting laminate over it. The quality of the print is perfect in itself and comes from a colour calibrated print studio here in Dublin and the purpose of the laminate is to eliminate the use of glass when framing. There is nothing that annoys me more than when you're looking at a framed print but losing a lot of the effect from reflections of lights or windows behind you. The laminate brings you closer to the the print itself, last forever and can even wipe clean with a warm soapy damp cloth.

As I take my photographs I am always thinking ahead of the image itself considering printing options, paper types, framing and mounting. The Lambda print is generally the best print option.

Other printing would be regular digital photographic printing  which is also a cheaper alternative. If the print is being framed and mounted with glass protecting...then this should be fine.
