RED Lynam photography is a fine art and service based photography website created by myself Chris Lynam.

 

Photography, like any art is about creating a visual aesthetic to somewhat captivate its viewer. We generate images creatively to intrigue or question, to inspire or to reflect, to wonder and to ponder. We try to evoke emotion from the simplest of things. We find the beauty in all.

 

What I want you to see from my photography is that I am someone who loves what I do and I want you to see how I try to ignite personal styles and develop them artistically learning continuously.

 

There are a variety of themes that run through my personal profile like the religious imagery of the multiple exposure work I do where it's quite new and abstract to the simplicity of the horizontal perspectives in my landscape photography. Reflections also feature a lot in my work where I try to look beyond the surface of what we tend to see and look that bit further again. These create great organic images.

 

What you can expect to see from me in the future is more of what I'm already doing but some new work and new ideas. I am developing my perception on the importance of numbers throughout theology and how they apply to us today in photography (which I find endlessly fascinating). I will also be doing more work away from the camera where I will be creating pieces to then photograph under different conditions experimenting with colour, light and shadows.
